On January the 29th, the PLT was glad to host and introduce stewardship to eight great kids from Pacifica Homeschooler. Their ages ranged from 3 to 8 years old. We put them right to work drilling holes and planting about 150 checkerbloom and other native grasses. Then everyone went for a hike around the south ridge of the Pedro Point Headlands. There were lots of ladybug sightings and everyone learned what poison oak looks like in winter without leaves. All the kids will be coming back in April to see the results of their planting efforts. Finally, for your viewing enjoyment here is a video put together by an enthusiastic Pacifica Homeschooler group volunteer: https://youtu.be/4wZCGKUoKoU
